Link #7 To view a rim chip that is 3/4"W and 3/16"T at the highest point

This is a beautiful piece of Sunset Mountain
in the same color glaze a a piece on page 53 in Locke's book on North Carolina pottery. It is 7 3/4"T and 8 1/2"W at the handles. It has 10 small rim flakes where the glaze was thin and has come off, the largest being 3/8" by 1/8". The rim chip is 3/4"W overall and has one section that is 3/16"T, but most of it is only 1/8"T. It also has normal firing flaws for the early work of J.B.Cole but most of the pinholes are inside it. The rarity scale on items marked Sunset Mountain is 7 and higher. With this being a large fluted piece I would guess it at an 8 or 9. This would be an excellent piece to add to any North Carolina Pottery collector's collection.

Rumrill Continental console bowl and two pitchers.
An extremely rare bowl and all three are in a very rare color.
The bowl has three agelines in it, none from damage. Pieces this large commonly do. There is also a 1/32" by 1/32" pinpoint chip on the inside edge of the rim that looks like a rust spot in my pic. The bowl is 19" long and 6" tall and the color is a dripping turquoise.
The ewers are both marked as pictured above and are the same color as the bowl. The ewer with the Rumrill sticker, has what I believe to be a chip from the heavy sanding that was done on the bottom, to make it sit level. It is 3/16"W and 1/8"T and can be seen if your are very close and looking for it. All of the heavily sanded areas have this type chipping, but this spot is the only place that is visable, the rest being on the bottom.
