HAMPSHIRE POTTERY : This is a piece that should probably be in a museum. Lehner's book on marks sites this mark from Barber's marks book(his book was pre 1900). It is in very good condition even with the two lid chips, for a piece over 100 years old. It is 9 1/2"T and 6"W.

HAMPSHIRE POTTERY : It looks like a hairline in the bottom, but it does not go all the way through. It has mark#1 for Hampshire Pottery as sited in Lehner's U.S. Marks book. The scene is hand painted, but is not artist signed.
